Dey will tap into those experiences to extend MomentFeed’s Mobile Consumer Experience (MCX) management platform to further leverage data across the most-used mobile networks, applications and services to help MomentFeed’s multi-location brands integrate all different digital channels to more strategically reach and engage with mobile consumers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Avik to the MomentFeed family and believe his deep expertise in the enterprise technology sector will be an incredible asset to our product and engineering teams,” said Robert Blatt, Chairman and CEO of MomentFeed. “Demand for the MCX platform continues to grow at a tremendous pace and our customers are constantly asking for new features and capabilities. We’re excited for Avik to help enhance the platform’s software architecture and development in order to support new innovative mobile services and solutions, and deploy them at a rapid pace.”

“I’m excited to join a company that is engineered from the ground-up to provide location-specific insights and highly efficient applications that allow MomentFeed’s clients to easily localize their consumer engagements, increase their visibility, revenue and profitability,” said Dey. “Our focus is on helping our clients to engage and convert mobile consumers into customers. MomentFeed’s engineering team makes that possible by enabling localized mobile content that drives brand engagement and long-term brand loyalty that our clients crave.”

One of Dey’s main focus areas is to streamline the company’s software infrastructure and integrations with a focus on data enrichment augmented with Data Science and use of microservices to evolve the platform and application architecture. The goal is to enable MomentFeed’s clients to leverage proven mobile engagement successes across the company’s client base as a whole, benefitting from best practices based on future trends, behaviors and buying experiences to create smarter workflows.

Most recently, Dey was Executive Vice President, Technology at Marin Software, where he spearheaded the transition of multiple monolithic SAAS apps to a microservices-based stack architecture. Previously, Dey served as Worldwide Director, Big Data Product/Apache Engineering at Intel Corporation, building and overseeing a team of 75 architects, engineers and leaders across the U.S., China and India. At Yahoo!, he was Lead Product/Program Manager, playing a pivotal role as part of the leadership team that owned the strategy, roadmap and execution for Apache Hadoop as a service.
